Stranger things have happened...

Don't fall out of your chairs, folks! That's right, I've fiiiiiinally put together a Tyler's Tribune for February (didn't mention what year though...). :-) I'll share my reasons for the long absence on page 1 - I can't promise this will be a regular thing, but I'll do my best.

Some of the articles you'll find are:

Word for the Year
Haiti
Some amazing photos of animals in the womb (sounds weird but it isn't), and
The introduction of Baxter and Bella. (If it's any consolation, I haven't updated that blog lately either).

June 2009 - Gardening Edition

Hello!

So sorry to have missed last month's newsletter but I was sick, sick, sick! You'll read all about that on page 1!

This edition is the gardening edition because Tyler is interested in gardening. I think there's enough information in there to keep him thinking (and Karen nervous!).

April 2009 - Top 10 Edition

This month's newsletter is filled to the brim with top 10 lists. The internet is jam-packed with top 10 lists; everything from Top 10 Comic Book Villains, to Top 10 Ugliest Sports Uniforms, to Top 10 Famous Penises. You'll be glad to know the latter was NOT included in this edition!

Interestingly enough, I glanced up at the top of my TypePad posting page and it says, "Need exciting new blog topics? Get a dose of inspiration with our 10 Tips for finding new blog topics." Great minds think alike? :-)

February 2009 - Mardi Gras Edition

Yes, you're reading that correctly! The February newsletter is done...early...

This newsletter is dedicated to Mardi Gras as Mardi Gras happens on Feb. 24th this year. I mean, how many times can one write about Valentine's day? I had to switch things up a bit.

I'm also including 3 articles of importance to the world of late: social networking via the use of Twitter, Facebook, and MySpace. I imagine you have all heard at least one of these terms but wondered what all the fuss was about. Read this and you'll know (or your head will explode...one or the other).

January 2009 - Inauguration Edition

That's right folks! This month's newsletter is E.A.R.L.Y. Due to a plant shutdown, I've had a little extra time.

This month's edition is the inaugural edition since we are about to get a new President! And because January is the month we take time to respect Martin Luther King Jr., I've put a little in there about the civil rights movement.

My special assignment was to write a little about religions around the world (from His Royal Highness!) so you'll see a brief overview of several religions (and a bit about atheists...don't think that's necessarily a religion...or is it?).

Here's to a new year, new President, and new hope for a better future for everyone!
